Factors Influencing Accuracy of Data Collection

Psychology Research

The purpose of the study is to assess how accurately people collect data based on features of the videos they watch. Participation involves watching a series of brief videos showing interactions between a child and an adult and collecting data based on those interactions.

The study takes place at the Life Sciences Building on WVU's campus and lasts approximately 2 hours. Participants will receive $2 per video completed, with the opportunity to earn up to $32 or $36, depending on the version of the study to which they are randomly assigned. Compensation will be provided as an electronic Amazon Gift Card.
