About

Dr. Krackow directs the Memory and the Law Lab. She earned her doctorate from the Binghamton University, State University of New York. She completed her predoctoral internship at the Department of Psychiatry, University of Illinois at Chicago followed by a research associate/postdoctoral fellowship position at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Research Interests

Dr. Krackow’s research interests are in the area of clinical child psychology and developmental psychopathology. Special topics of interest include; eyewitness memory in children and adults including suggestibility, recovered/false memories, juror’s perceptions, and childhood depression, particularly cognitive biases and the intergenerational transmission from mothers to children.
