About
Professor Edelstein received his Ph.D. in psychology in 1975 from the University
of Memphis. He joined the WVU faculty in 1974 as an Assistant Professor, and was
promoted to Associate Professor in 1978 and to Professor in 1985. Professor Edelstein
was appointed Eberly Distinguished Professor of Clinical Psychology in 2001.
Research Interests
Dr. Edelstein is a clinical geropsychologist whose current research and other scholarly activity focuses on end of life decision making, decision-making capacity, and the development of older adult assessment instruments.
Dr. Edelstein is no longer accepting graduate students to work with him.
