Master’s Programs
Students in doctoral programs are expected to either have before matriculating or earn while enrolled at WVU a master’s degree in psychology as part of their curriculum toward the Ph.D. degree. Doctoral students completing a master’s degree at WVU earn a Master of Science (M.S.) degree. Requirements for the M.S. degree are described on the various doctoral degree program pages.
The Department of Psychology also offers a two-year program leading to a terminal Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Clinical Psychology. You may access additional information about this latter program by using the navigation bar on the left side of this page.
